[He was coming back together, piece by tiny piece, and Lightning smiled in relief. She hadn't lost him, not yet, and she wouldn't. No matter what she had to do she wouldn't lose him. She would fight off everything to stay here, with him, until he'd gone home. And after....well, that could be dealt with later.
For now, she just shifts, relaxing her hold on him enough that he can get more comfortable if he wants but careful to keep physical contact. She gets the feeling her needs it...or maybe she does. Either way, she's not letting go until he wants to, whenever that is. She can wait, she can be patient. He's family and she will. not. abandon. him. Ever.]
Think you can stand? You'll be more comfortable on the bed than the floor.
[She might try and get him to rest, though. that much crying takes a lot out of people.]
