He's just witnessed his little Surskit who was working so hard at training turn into this weird moth thing. He blinks with a smile on his face before turning the camera to the Masquerain flying around his head.]

I don't really know what happened. One minute we were training and then suddenly he went all white and changed into this thing.

[The Masquerain starts flapping, seemingly annoyed at being called a 'thing'. Hope blinks at him before laughing. That was definitely his Surskit.]

Lightning! Ven! See?

[He grins showing it again.]

[Poking of a button or two can be heard.]

My name is... Hope. Hope Estheim. I... don't really know what's going on.

Everyone has been nice, but no-one's explained what happened. I was on Pulse with everyone and now... Now I'm here. With this thing. A... pokéball I guess it's called. I think I have an... Absol. That's what the Pokédex said.

Can someone help me? I'm not sure what to do. I don't think I'm supposed to be here.
